Solon Speech & Debate Team Captures Third Place at Boardman
Solon Speech and Debate places third at Boardman High School amid tough competition in the Youngstown District.
The Solon team faced great opposition at the tournament at Boardman High School on December 2nd and 3rd. With over 50 competitors in each event and the competition spanning over two days, our Speech and Debaters poured their hard work and talent into their respective events, with many victories and triumps. The Solon Team placed third overall, a proud accomplishment in the Youngstown District. The following competitors were semi-finalists or finalists in their events:

Congratulations also to Caroline Moore and Shivani Bafna for placing 4th in policy debate at the Olmsted Falls Tournament! Every team member really put a lot of dedication into making this week a great success, and the greatnes won't cease as the Team brings the competition to Chagrin Falls this upcoming weekend.
