Solon Speech and Debate team emerges victorious at Mentor
Speech and Debate continues to have a successful season, in and out of district.
On Nov. 19, 22 schools gathered at Mentor High School, thirsty for victory and exhilarated with the joy that can only come from good debate. Solon took the competition by storm and set the bar high, emerging victorious with a first-place, in-district victory with 116 points to the second place team’s 88 points. The following champions helped lead the charge to victory by placing in their respective events.
