Whiz Kids: Solon High's Science Olympiad Seniors
Solon High School's Science Olympiad team finished second at the state tournament, led by their graduating seniors. Up next? nationals?
Whiz Kids of the Week: Solon High's Science Olympiad Team Seniors Sonia Godbole, Nick Palumbo, Eugene Rabinovich, Stephanie Sang, Daniel Sperling and Lillian Sun (and the rest of the high school and middle school teams)
Accomplishment: The seniors be recognized for their achievements during high school as they near graduation, but they also really rocked during the recent Science Olympiad state tournament, leading the team to a second place finish. That's in a field of 40 teams!
Both teams are now headed to Nationals! That competition is set for May 18-21 at the University of Wisconsin. The middle school team has won the competition three years in a row.
