Vacant School Board Seat: Last Chance To Apply

The Solon Board of Education is looking to fill a vacant seat. You can still apply, but do it fast.

If you want to apply for the vacant Solon school board seat, your running out of time.

The school board is accepting applications until noon today (May 11). To apply:

Send a letter of intent along with a resume to the Solon Board of Education c/o Superintendent Joseph Regano no later than noon on May 11.
The quick ways to apply are by e-mail to Superintendent Joe Regano at jregano@solonboe.org.
Or send it by fax to (440) 248-7665.

The law says the school board has 30 days to vote on a replacement. If the board fails to vote by then, the probate court will pick the successor.

There's a vacancy on the board after because she moved out of town.
