Tom Stupica Retiring From Solon Schools

Tom Stupica is retiring after a long and successful career with .

For the last 24 years, Stupica has been the business official for the district and the director of personnel.

"It's been my honor and privelege to serve this community and this district," Stupica said.

The Solon School Board and district officials honored him at Monday's board meeting by talking about his career.

Superintendent Joe Regano talked about his memories of Stupica as a standout athlete at Euclid High School, excelling in football, basketball and baseball.

Regano said that Stupica approached his career with the same tenacity as sports.

Stupica officially retires July 31, but Monday was his last board meeting. School board officials presented him with an award and wished him well.
