"Thoroughly Modern Millie" By Solon Drama Club Opens Thursday

The Solon High School Drama Club presents its performance of the classic "Thoroughly Modern Millie," which opens Thursday.

Play Dates: April 18-21 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. April 21 at 2:00 p.m. All seating is RESERVED except for the April 18 show, which is general admission.

When: 7:30 p.m. on April 18, 19 and 20. 2 p.m. on April 21.

Where: Solon High School auditorium

How much: $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors. Solon senior citizens can get one free ticket with an ID.

About the Show: "Thoroughly Modern Millie" is a musical with music by Jeanine Tesori, lyrics by Dick Scanlan and a book by Richard Morris and Scanlan.

It tells the story of a small-town girl, Millie Dillmount, who comes to New York City to marry for money instead of love. Problems arise when she is confronted by the mysterious and sinister Mrs. Meers, an actres turned evil who now works for a white slavery ring in Hong Kong.

Millie finds herself a job but will she find love too? Can Millie have it all? Love and Money?
