has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education and the National Dairy Council to kick off this year's national Fuel Up To Play 60 program, designed to help schools promote eating right and active lifestyles.

As the kickoff school, the middle school will have an assembly today at 10 a.m. Attending the event will be Michael Yudin, an acting U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education, and Lomas Brown, a former NFL player and Cleveland Brown who is an analyst on ESPN's First Take.

Solon Middle School was selected as the kickoff location in part because it is a Blue Ribbon School.

After the assembly, students will do a "milk toast" to their participation in this program and then head out to the field for 30 minutes of activity.
