The school was one of 35 Ohio schools this year to receive the honor, which was announced this week through the Daily Beast.

What put Solon over the top? It's graduation rate is high at 99 percent and 95 percent of its graduates are college-bound. It's average SAT score is 1678, and ACT 24.7, according to the Daily Beast stats.
