The streak is over for the Twinsburg City School District.
After four-straight years of an "Excellent With Distinction" rating, this year the Ohio Department of Education marked the district as "Excellent."
Despite a lower ranking, Twinsburg still had a very high performance index score.
Twinsburg's performance index for the 2011-2012 school year was 106.2. The school district received the mark of excellent and met adequate yearly progress, according to the data.
There are 610 public school districts in Ohio, and all of them received a performance index score, which is based on how well all students do on the tests.
Note these scores remain preliminary until an investigation into the data is completed by the state auditor. Once that is finished, then the state will release the graphical PDF report card form parents are familiar with.
Stay tuned for more info. Patch is producing a searchable database of all of the data for Ohio's schools to help parents compare school districts.
