'Music in Motion,' Solon's Show Choir, Wins Invitational
Solon's show choir took first place in the 2011 Twinsburg Northcoast Invitational
Solon High School's show choir, "Music in Motion" took 1st place in the Twinsburg Northcoast Invitational, held Saturday in Twinsburg, according to Showchoir.com.
Ten choirs from around the area competed for the top prize. Piqua High School's "The Company" came in second and "Encore Entertainment Company," the outfit from Medina High School, took third place.
"Music in Motion" was also awarded for best vocals.

Solon will host its own show choir festival March 12 in the Solon High School Auditorium.
