Kevin Patton Takes Oath as Solon School Board Member
Patton thanked for voters for electing him to a four-year term on the Solon Board of Education
Kevin Patton said he's looking forward to serving on the "other side" of SOM Center Road.
Patton, who has served on the other side of 91 in as mayor and city council member, was sworn in Monday as the newest member of the .
"Thank you to the voters," Patton said, later adding: "I'm very pleased to be here. I'll do my very best to provide for this great school system we have here."

Patton takes over for Roger Goudy, who decided not to run for re-election.
In other business, the school board elected its president and vice president for 2012.
