Darren Landis is the president and co-founder of Hyalogic, the company that patented high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HA). Landis co-founded Hyalogic ten years ago with partner Mark Ganaban. Among other accomplishments, they were the first to bring HA to the marketplace for equine and small animals for joint health benefits. Landis has been in sales and marketing in the animal health industry for nine years. Landis served as chairperson of the membership committee for the National Animal Supplement Council, of which Hyalogic is a current audited member. Landis is also certified as a respiratory therapist and has a B.S. degree in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Landis has held health care positions for 25 years, working directly with human and/or animal patients.
