U.S. 422 from Richmond Road to Solon Road will be resurfaced, and paid for, by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The Ohio Department of Transportation plans to resurface a nearly 4-mile stretch of U.S. 422 in Solon in the next year.

The DOT will pay for the entire project, which is expected to take place in the budget year 2013, which began July 1. The resurfacing is expect to begin at the state line, roughly near Richmond Road, and end where U.S. 422 passes over Solon Road.

The plan is to work on the resurfacing during nighttime hours, between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
