The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at Solon City Hall

The Solon Planning Commission will vote on a variance for the sign package of a major tenant at Solon Village.

The coffee shop was previously scheduled to open in October in the building with Menchies, GNC and other businesses. A new date has yet to be announced.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. after a 7 p.m. caucus at City Hall.

  • Davis Auto — sign variance
  • FirstEnergy — for a 30-foot addition to the vehicle storage area on Solon Road.
  • Crawford Fitting — street setback and fence variance requests so the company can provide electrical power to Swagelok Co.

The Planning Commission will also host a public hearing regarding an amendment proposal to an ordinance that create a new Comprehensive Storm Water Management plan. The amendment would require land owners who develop or re-develop their properties to uphold several stormwater control and maintenance responsibilities.
