Starbucks Drive-Thru Plans Before Safety Committee Tonight
Plans for a new Starbucks at the redesigned Solar Center will be heard by the Solon Safety and Public Properties Committee at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
Starbucks wants a drive-thru at its new Solon location. Tonight, the proposal will go before Solon's safety and public properties committee.
Starbucks will be part of a new retail building to be built at Solon Village, formerly the Solar Shopping Center, at the corner of SOM Center and Aurora roads.
The plan is to build a drive-thru and fenced in patio at Starbucks, which is slated to go at the north end of the new building. Those plans will go before the safety committee at tonight's meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m. at .

Echo Solon, the plaza's new owner and developer, plans to break ground on Solon Village later this month. The building pegged as the future home of Starbucks is expected to be complete later this year.
The new Solon Village will also include a brand-new Giant Eagle and other new tenants, including Menchie's and GNC.
