Solon Resident Serving as U.S. Senator's Intern

Jarrod Baden of Solon is on Capitol Hill this summer thanks to an internship with U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown's (D-Ohio) office. 

Baden is studying media and public affairs at The Ohio State University. 

“Ohio students – like Jarrod – exemplify how strong families, teachers, and Ohio communities continue to produce the next generation of world-class leaders,” Brown said in this Plain Dealer story. “An internship allows students from either Ohio schools or Ohio communities to serve their state while gaining invaluable experience by working on a wide range of projects.”

Baden is working out of the Capitol Hill office.

“Working in Sen. Sherrod Brown’s office has really opened my eyes to a career in politics and understanding that it is something I want to pursue,” Baden said in a Plain Dealer article. Read the full story here.
