Solon City Council has scheduled a special meeting for 7:15 a.m. Thursday at to consider an agreement with the law firm Thompson Hine.
The details of the proposed agreement and why the city would be hiring a law firm are not known right now.
Ward 7 Councilman Bill Russo said the matter is related to an ongoing "pending litigation" item that council members have been discussing during executive session.
Thompson Hine is a national law firm with an office in Cleveland that provides a wide array of legal services.
