After weeks of discussion and debate, the Solon City Council is expected to vote Monday on plans for a new , and redeveloped Solar Shopping Center, in Solon.
Residents have been waiting a long time for a new, modern grocery store in the center of town, and it looks like they'll be getting one soon. If the project is approved, as anticipated, developer Echo Solon expects to begin work almost immediately with hopes to open the new Giant Eagle in summer 2013.
