Candidate Statement: As an Assistant Prosecutor for over 20 years, I have represented the Citizens for the State of Ohio in some of the most Violent Cases. Advocating for our Safety and Welfare has become my Life's work.

I see my role as an advocate for every resident of Ward 1. It is also important to balance the interests of all residents in the City of Solon to maintain and grow our collective prosperity.

My wife and I settled here in Solon when we were married in 1990.  This City has provided us the best possible place to raise our 4 children. It is time for us to serve our friends and neighbors.  On a day to day basis answering the residents questions and concerns promptly is the most important aspect of the position.

I enjoy working closely with the City's Directors and Administration. Currently I sit on both the Safety and Public Properties Committee and the Public Works Committee. We have had serious matters that have come before us this past year such as the City Budget, McDonald's variances, Issue 129, Rental Occupancy Inspections and Deer Management.

Each of these issues as well as  overseeing our Infrastructure Projects takes patience and a logical business approach. Anticipating issues and working well with others on Council have been the positive  traits I bring to the legislative decision process.

Ward 1 is a residential Ward. Ensuring City Services, strong home values and education is paramount to our residents. On each issue that comes before Counsel I will carefully listen to the residents and I will advocate for their safety and welfare.
