Solon Begins Curbside Leaf Pickup
Residents can pile up their leaves on the curb for pickup from Oct. 15 until Dec. 21
Solon residents, time to get out those rakes.
The Solon Service Department will begin curbside leaf pickup today, Oct. 15, and it will run through Dec. 21, weather permitting.
The city asks residents to place their leaves 3 feet from the curb and city crews will work their way around the city to collect them. Crews will pass through each area several times through the collection season.

Leaves are composted and not thrown into the landfill. Compost and mulch will be available to Solon residents next spring.
