Santorum Ineligible for GOP Delegates in Three Ohio Districts

Santorum can't compete for Republican delegates in Ohio's 6th, 9th and 13th congressional districts. The 9th and 13th districts are in Northern Ohio.

GOP Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum won't be able to compete for all of Ohio's delegates in the March 6 Republican primary.

Santorum won't be on the ballot in Ohio's 6th, 9th and 13th congressional districts because he did not file for them, announced Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted on Wednesday.

The failure to file means Santorum won't be able to collect those districts' nine delegates to the Republican National Convention later this year, when the GOP will officially annoint its presidential candidate.
