No Problems With Starbucks Drive-Thru
Starbucks wants a drive-thru and a fenced-in patio at its Solon location.
Solon's safety and traffic experts had no problems with plans for a drive-thru at the new Starbucks location.
in a new retail building being constructed at Solon Village, the new name for the Solar Shopping Center at SOM Center and Aurora roads.
Plans for the drive-thru were reviewed by the safety and public properties committee Wednesday night. While officials, including traffic engineer Kevin Westbrooks and Police Chief Chris Viland had suggestions about installing certain traffic signs to control the flow of traffic, no one had any problems with the proposal.

Developer Echo Solon plans to later this month. The new retail building that will include Starbucks should be complete later this year.
The center will also include a new freestanding with a GetGo gas station.
