First Energy: About 1,000 Without Power in Solon

About 1,000 people are without power in Solon, according to First Energy.

Bill Snyder, external affairs manager for First Energy, came to city hall Tuesday to explain the outages to city council.

Snyder said the outages were caused by the wind, and that crews are out working to restore power as quickly as possible.

He said he expects power to be restored tonight or, at the latest, Wednesday morning.
