Fire department open house

Solon will hold its annual fire department open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 9 at Station 1 (5595 Harper Road). Events include fire and sprinkler demonstrations, a visit from the Life Flight helicopter and more. Food and refreshments will be provided.
