A developer is looking to develop a new subdivision at the corner of Miles Road and Neptune Drive in northeast Solon, but some neighbors are speaking out against the plan.

Developer Randy Kertesz, who also built the nearby Shoppes of North Solon plaza, wants to build the homes on a 22-acre lot on the southwest corner of the intersection. The property includes a pond known as Neptune Lake.

The plan needs the approval of city council. The Solon Planning Commission will begin considering the proposal at its meeting tonight.
