City Council Tonight: New Giant Eagle, Burntwood Tavern & More

The Solon City Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at .

It's a pretty full agenda. Here's what's happening:

• The finance committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. before the regular city council meeting. There, they will discuss fee proposals for the , , the Senior Center and . They will also discuss the Arts Center's patio project.
• At the full council meeting, council members will begin consideration of a proposal to open in the old Max & Erma's building at Solon Road and Kruse Drive. The planning commission gave the go-ahead to variances and plans to build a patio. The tavern is also asking for a liquor permit.
• Discussions of the , including a new , will continue. The city council will get more chance to ask questions before the council is scheduled to vote on April 2.
• City Council will vote on applying for a grant that seeks state funding to widen the .
