The Solon City Council members have been studying the departmental budgets for the last few weeks as they prepare to approve the annual budget for 2011.
Now any Solon resident can see what they are seeing and study the budget themselves.
Solon Patch has posted the entire budget document, which the city council will consider over the next month and approve before the end of March.

The budget documents listed below are broken down by department and funds. Many departments, including police, fire and service, are funded by the general fund, which is paid for largely with income tax receipts.

Others, such as the arts center, recreation and water reclamation, are paid for in large part by revenue they generate, though some do receive subsidies from the general fund.
