Woman's Jewelry Stolen From Car While Shopping in Solon

A Solon woman shopping at Uptown Solon left a bag containing $1,000 worth of jewelry on the seat. No problem: She locked her car.

But when the woman returned to her car, the jewelry was gone. The only thing left was the small satin pillow from the jewelry box. 

According to the police report, there was no sign of forced entry into her car despite the woman's recollection of locking the doors with a keychain remote.

Taken was a diamond ring worth $650 and a man's watch worth $350.
