Woman Won't Give Ex-Boyfriend New Phone Number, So He Steals Her Phone

A 21-year-old Solon man is facing a theft charge after police say he stole his ex-girlfriend's phone after she refused to give him her phone number, according to Solon Police.

Police say the ex-boyfriend showed up at the GetGo gas station in Solon to see his ex-girlfriend, who worked there.

The woman, a 19-year-old Oakwood Village woman, told him to leave after he asked for her new cell phone number. She told him to leave and then, according to the police report, he took her iPhone.

Police later found the phone, valued at $400, near SOM Center Road.
