Police: Woman Brings Drugs Into Solon Jail

A woman arrested on felony drug charges attempted to sneak more drugs into Solon Jail after her arrest, according to Solon Police.

Brittany Vizer, 23, of Cleveland, and Thomas Oliver Yost, 29, of Chagrin Falls, were arrested on drug charges after a pickup truck they were driving was pulled over because the truck didn't have a front license plate, according to the police report.

A search of the truck produced a number of drug items, including marijuana, foil pipes, syringes, cotton swabs that are being tested for heroin, a burned spoon with drug residue and two pills, one valium and another a narcotic, the police report reads.

Officer also found two folded papers containing heroin in Yost's pockets, the report reads.

Police later found about 20 syringes on Vizer after she was taken to the jail.

Vizer was charged with felony drug possession, conveyance of drugs in a jail and had active warrants for her arrest.

Yost was charged with felony drug possession.
