Woman Arrested For Heroin Possession

A 37-year-old Solon woman is facing felony drug charges after Solon Police said they found her with heroin and needles during a traffic stop.

Charity Masterson, 37, of Solon, was charged with drug possession, a fifth-degree felony.

Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services were also contacted because Masterson's daughter was in the car when she was found with drugs and arrested, according to the police report.

According to a police report, a Solon officer saw a car lurch forward suddenly while stopped at the traffic light at Solon and Aurora roads. The officer pulled over the car, and a search uncovered five packets of suspected heroin and six hypodermic needles in the car and in the woman's purse.
