Wild Passengers Get Man Arrested, Charged With Drunken Driving

The passengers of a Chagrin Falls man charged by Solon police with drunken driving brought undo attention to the car on Feb. 11.

The man, 24, was driving on SOM Center Road and turning onto Solon Road when a police cruiser passed by. Passengers in the car opened the windows and began waving their arms out of the window and screaming.

The police officer promptly turned around, made a traffic stop and investigated whether the driver had been drinking.

The driver blew a .196 on a breathalyzer test, which is over the .08 legal limit.
