Wanted Solon Man Found Passed Out In Apartment Building Lobby

A 19-year-old Solon man wanted on two warrants was arrested Feb. 28 after the man was found "passed out" in the lobby of an apartment building.

At about 4:28 a.m. on Feb. 28, a resident of Monroe Court called to saw a a man was passed out in the lobby of his building.

Roused by police, the man said he had been staying with a friend but had been kicked out. He decided to sleep in the lobby because it was warm.

The man, Benjamin Green, had two outstanding arrest warrants issued by Solon police for failure to appear to court, according to a police report.

Police also charged Green with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they found marijuana, according to the report.
