U.S. Attorney Files to Seize Solon $1 Million Home of Fugitive Credit Union CEO

Alex Spirikaitis, CEO of Cleveland credit union shuttered by feds, still not captured to answer to federal fraud charges

Federal prosecutors have moved to seize the $1 million Solon home of fugitive and credit union CEO Alex Spirikaitis, The Plain Dealer reports.

Spririkaitis' home was the scene of a standoff July 16, when FBI agents believed that he had barricaded himself inside after the National Credit Union Association shuttered Taupa Lithuanian Credit Union on E.185th in Cleveland.

He was not found inside the home and has not yet been arrested to answer to fraud charges against him.
