Two Reports of Uncontrolled Bladders: Police Reports

The following information was provided by the Solon Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Solon police were called to the 6600 block of Solon Boulevard around 1:45 a.m. on June 26 for a domestic violence report.

An argument between a couple spilled out into the front of a home after the boyfriend refused to move his car to let someone out of the driveway.
He pushed his girlfriend and then urinated on the car and on the woman. Her daughter stepped in and he struck her on the face with the back of his hand.

The man, 41, was arrested and charged with domestic violence.

No light shed on this case

An employee of Signature of Solon called police for a major theft dating back to June 18. They reported that 36 black, narrow spotlights were stolen from around the property, valuing $8,640. This is the second time an incident like this has occurred in the last few months. Police have closed the case due to lack of leads but the crime is a fifth-degree felony.

Happy hour at the cemetery

A caller reported to police that a drunk man was at the Roseland Cemetary on Solon Road on June 26 around 4:40 p.m. Police found the 70-year-old Bedford Heights man, wandering around. He urinated on the ground and sat down when police arrived and was unable to walk or take care of himself. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
