Two More Cars Broken Into Outside Solon Restaurants

The information in this report is from the Solon Police.

Two more cars were broken into outside Solon restaurants, this time at Longhorn Steakhouse and Senorita Bonitas near Enterprise Parkway, according to Solon police.

Both thefts occured on Dec. 28 at roughly dinner time and involved car windows being shattered and laptop bags taken, according to Solon Police.

Detectives are investigating.

A 43-year-old Aurora resident left Senorita Bonitas at about 6:32 p.m. to find that someone broke into the car and stole an Apply Macbook worth $1,500. The front passenger window was shattered.

The theft at Longhorn Steakhouse occured at about 7:45 p.m. the same night. A 33-year-old Aurora resident found the window of their Ford truck shattered and a computer bag gone. There was no computer in the bag, only paperwork and some personal items.

A string of similar break-ins have occured outside restaurants in Solon in recent months.
