Two Men Charged With Meth Trafficking

Two Fairview Park men were arrested and charged with drug trafficking after found meth in their car, according to a police report.

Arrested and charged were Jeffrey Lee, 20, and Kelly Ryan Scott, 25. Lee is charged with drug trafficiking and possession of criminal tools, both felonies, and two traffic violations. Scott is charged with drug trafficking.

One of the men, Scott, was later taken to in Solon for treatment because he was heavily intoxicated. According to the police report, Scott took one gram of ketamine, which was in his pocket, when police pulled over the car.

On April 21 at about 9:30 a.m., a Solon officer pulled over a blue Buick travelling west on U.S. 422 near SOM Center Road because the car was swerving.

The two men in the car told the cop they had been camping at a girlfriend's house, the report reads. One of the men told the officer he had a knife in his pocket.

The knife had a white powder residue on its blade, so officers searched the car.

In the trunk police found a glass mason jar filled with 34.3 grams of a white powder that tested positive for methamphetamines, according to the police report.
