Two Men Arrested After Shooting in Solon
Two men are accused of shooting into a car on Solon Road on Monday. No one was hurt
Solon Police arrested two men accused of shooting into a car on Solon Road containing three 18-year-olds.
No one was hurt in the shooting, which police say was provoked by the victims throwing fireworks at or near the suspect's property in Oakwood Village.
Arrested and charged were Peter Pruitt, 36, of Oakwood, and Erik D. Hills, 46, of Bedford Heights. Pruitt was charged with felonious assault and Hills was charged with drug possession. The two men will be taken to Cuyahoga County Jail.

According to police, the car containing the 18-year-olds was chased into Solon by two men in a Hyundai Elantra. While driving north on Solon Road near Hawthorne Valley Parkway, police say the Elantra cut off the other car. A passenger leaned out the window and fired one round from a semiautomatic pistol.
The bullet struck and shattered the windshield. The suspects fled the scene but were later arrested.
