Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests for Possession of Heroin and 144 Pills

Felony drug charges filed against man and woman pulled over on 422 near Harper Road

A man and a woman pulled over on Feb. 11 were charged by Solon Police with felony drug charges after the officer discovered heroin and 144 prescription drug pills.

Timothy Collins, 43, of Chagrin Falls, was arrested and charged with two counts of felony drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.Β Wanda Waite, 51, of Warrensville Heights, was charged with felony drug possession.

Both were booked at the Solon jail.

According to the police report, officer pulled over a car traveling on 422 near Harper Road a discovered an open 12-pack of beer in the back seat and the strong odor of alcohol.

With the help of police dog Stryker, officers reported finding .2 grams of a substance believed to be heroin, 108 Percocet pills, 36 Roxicodone and two used syringes in the vehicle, according to the report.
