Tires Slashed, Drug Abuse and Theft: Police Blotter Roundup

A roundup of Solon Police reports:
Theft: A 54-year-old Park East resident reported on Sept. 6 at 12:36 p.m. that someone cut the catalytic converter from his 1999 Honda minivan while it was parked in the garage of the apartment complex.Β
The theft occurred sometime between 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 6. The cost to replace the converter is $329.00.

Criminal Damaging: On Sept. 6 at 10:06 a.m., a 40-year-old Solon resident reported that someone slashed a tire on her 2008 Cadillac while it was parked at the high school between 7:20 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.Β The cost of a replacement was not immediately known.
Drug Abuse: Damien A. Stewart, 19, of Bedford was arrested and charged with drug abuse on Sept. 10 at 8:28 p.m. He was charged following a traffic stop in which he was a passenger and was found to be in possession of marijuana and drinking a beer, according to a police report. He was additionally charged with underage consumption.
