Three Cars Broken Into, Belongings Stolen At Grantwood Golf Course

More cars have been broken into in Solon, this time three of them at Grantwood Golf Course.

Solon Police have investigated a number of car break-ins in recent months. The break-ins are similar in that they've occured in parking lots in which backseat windows have been smashed out and laptops have bee stolen from the cars.

The recent thefts at Grantwood all fit this mold, with the rear windows of a Cadillac CTS, a GMS Acadia and a Honda Pilot were broken into and contents stolen from the cars, including laptops, briefcases, and other items, according to police reports.

About $2,600 worth of items were stolen from the cars, according to the police reports.

The thefts occured on the evening of May 7, between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
