Teen Sneaks Into Pool, Then Crashes Car, Then Leaves It In Road

A 16-year-old Solon girl defied her dad, and then had a very bad night.

According to , the girl asked her dad on Aug. 4 if she could go to the pool at Signature of Solon. But it was late at night, the pool was closed, and dad said no.

The girl went anyway, according to the police report, taking her brother's car without his permission. She and two 17-year-old boys snuck into the pool.

When they left the pool, the girl was driving too fast and lost control of the car and crashed it on Stockwood Lane.

Police said the girl then left the car in the road and headed home and went to bed. The car was found the next morning.

The girl was referred to the juvenile officer on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal tresspassing, a curfew violation and various traffic citations.

The two boys were also referred on charges of criminal trespassing.
