Teen Jumped At Solon Gas Station

A 17-year-old Solon teenager will deal with an assault charge in juvenile court after he reportedly attacked another teen at a bus stop in Solon, accordin to a Solon Police report.

On April 8 at about 10:35 p.m., police officers went to Circle K on Aurora Road to talk with a 17-year-old teen, who told officers he was riding home from work on the bus and was having an argument with another 17-year-old teen.

They both got off the bus and then one of the teens ran up behind the other and struck him in the head, knocking him to the ground. The teen then continued to kick the victim in the head, according to the report, and then fled east on Aurora Road.

Police found the suspected attacker on Aurora Road near Enterprise Parkway. The case was turned over to the Solon Police juvenile officer.
