Special Delivery: Solon Man Receives Package Containing Nearly 26 Pounds of Weed

A Solon man received a special delivery he did not want on April 14.

The man said that his neighbor brought a package over to his SOM Center Road house that was mistakenly mailed to the neighbor's house.

Thing is, while the packaged was addressed to his home, the name did not match anyone who lived in the home.

The man proceeded to open the package -- until he detected the strong odor of raw marijuana. He stopped and called the police.

Turns out the package contained 25 pounds and 13 ounces of marijuana, bundled into two packages.
