Someone Breaks Into Solon Home, But Nothing Missing

Family finds signs of burglary in home, but report nothing missing

A Solon family returned to their Rockford Drive home March 24 to learn that someone had broken into their home.

Residents found their dog, which they had confined in the laundry room, free in the house and the door to the laundry room open, according to the police report.

Other signs included an open second-story bedroom window, which is only accessible with a ladder. Another window screen was damaged and laying outside the kitchen window.

The strange thing is that the family could not find anything missing from the home, according to the police report.
