Some Friend: Woman Arrested For Shoplifting After Accomplice Bails On Her

Police are looking for a woman who Marc's employees say shoplifted from the Solon store and left her accomplice behind to face the music.

According to the Solon Police report, two women were spotted by Marc's employees walking out of the store on SOM Center Road with a cart full of unpaid merchandise.

Employees confronted the women in the parking lot, but the woman not pushing the court said she wasn't with the other woman and hurried off, according to the police report.

The other woman, a 19-year-old Bedford Heights woman, was detained and is now facing a theft charge.

The cart contained about $75 worth of unpaid goods from the store.
