Solon Woman Arrested for Third Time in a Month on Driving Charges

A Solon woman was arrested and charged with suspicion of drunk driving after a traffic crash June 16.

Unfortunately for the woman, it's her third driving-related arrest in the last month, according to Solon police.

Deborah Graci Horner, 53, of Liberty Road in Solon, already has pending charges of drunk driving and hit and run resulting from two separate incidents on May 25 and May 26.

On June 16, police arrested Horner and charged her with drunk driving after the Ford Taurus she was driving became "embedded" in a Chevy pickup truck in the intersection of Bainbridge and SOM Center roads. Police say she had slurred speech and was fidgety.Β 

A field sobriety test indicated a blood alcohol level of .172, according to the police report.

On May 25, Horner was charged with drunk driving after nearly hitting police officers who were on the side of Aurora Road during a traffic stop. After they pulled her over, police said she had chocolate frosting smeared on her face.

On May 26, Horner is accused of leaving the scene of an accident after police say her car struck another on SOM Center Road. She left the scene, according to police, and was arrested later at the Annex Bar.
