Solon Police Searching for Man Who Tried to Abduct Girl, With 911 Audio

A man tried to pull a 7-year-old girl from a car at 33000 AUrora Road in Solon

are combing the area near 33000 Aurora Road in search of a man who attempted to abduct a 7-year-old girl from a car.

The girl was not hurt, but was found crying after the incident, the grandmother told the 911 dispatcher.

The area is an apartment complex across the street from the Solon Square Shopping Center.

The man is described as black and about 5 feet tall. He has a bushy mustache and was wearing some sort of mask, according to Solon Police.

The girl was waiting in the car for her grandmother, who had gone into her apartment, when a man tried to pull her out of the car, according to Solon Police.

The girl resisted, and the man fled the area on foot. Police officers are now searching the area with assistance from a police dog from Bainbridge.
