Solon Police: Armed Robbery Victim OK After Attack

The information in this report is from the Solon Police Department.

The 57-year-old woman attacked by two men in Liberty Hill on Dec. 30 was taken to the hospital but is doing okay, according to Solon Police.

After the attack, the woman was taken to Solon Medical Campus and treated for her injuries.Β 

The woman was attacked after midnight on Dec. 30 walking from her garage. According to the police report, the woman found a man standing outside the garage, which made her nervous. She tried to re-enter the garage, but the door closed to quickly. So the woman walked towards her home on Hamilton Court, and when she noticed another man, she began to run. That's when they attacked her.

The two men are still at large. The robbers stole her purse, which contained $500.

The suspects are described by police as black men. One is a heavyset man who was wearing an orange jacket and a blue-stocking hate. The other man is described as slender and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
