Solon Men Caught Siphoning Gas From Cars

Two Solon men were caught siphoning gasoline from cars in Liberty Hill, according to Solon Police.

A resident called police to report the men, who officers caught when they were on the scene, according to the police report.

One of the men, Cody J. Jewett, 19, was charged with attempted theft and possessing criminal tool because he had syphoning equipment, according to the police report.

The other man, Brandon J. Hawkins, 19, was charged with obstructing official business because police said he tried to give officers bad information, the police report reads.
